MAKING A WALL DOLL

Supplies
One small poster board, one bag of polyester fiberfill, one 3-inch square of two-way stretch, flesh-tone fabric, two 8-by-4-inch pieces of two-way stretch black cotton fabric, scraps of cotton print fabric, black acrylic or wool yarn, sewing needle, black thread, thread for flesh tone fabric, straight pins, 10 small buttons, 2 yards of metallic thread, one small metal key ring, black and metallic gold "Scribbles" dimensional paint, tailor chalk, glue gun and glue sticks.
Instructions
Make a template of the doll using poster board. Draw an 8-by-4-inch rectangle with slightly overlapping 4-inch diameter circle at top. Cut out,
Using chalk, trace template on double layers of black stretch fabric. Pin together,
Hand-stitch along outline, leaving bottom open,
Cut doll out, leaving 1/8-inch seam allowance,
Stuff firmly (do not reverse),
Hand-stitch bottom close, leaving 1/8-ich seam allowance,
Glue two-way stretch, flesh-tone fabric over doll face,
Glue scraps of fabric squares to front of body as patchwork,
Hide edge of each square with gold glitter scribble paint,
Press buttons randomly into paint (which doubles as a glue),
Draw mouth with paint,
Let dry.
Wrap body several times with metallic thread,
Stitch key ring to upper back.
