Books on CD
Over
the years, I have collected many old sewing books and manuals.
Many of them are now out of print and very rare.
Some of
them are now in the Public Domain, which means they can be distributed,
because the copyright has expired. I have taken some of my
books,
scanned them into the computer, made them into PDF documents
and
put them onto CDs.
This
CD-ROM is a very inexpensive way for you to acquire these patterns, for
a tiny fraction of what it would cost you if you were to purchase the
originals.
This
book is in a PDF format. You can access the book easily from your
computer by using the Adobe Acrobat Reader. In the unlikely event
that you do not have this on your computer, it can be
downloaded for free from their site.
With
a book in PDF, you need only print the pattern you are working
on. Then you can make notes or mark your page
without worry because you can print a clean page when you need
it! Using the Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can enlarge the print
or pictures to a size with which you are comfortable.
